Who we are
Set & Sanctuary is a joint practice founded by Reiki Master, Mystic and Spatial Designer Mary Hilton-Reid and Theatre Artist, Scholar and Crisis Manager Dennis Hilton-Reid.
Mary has been a practitioner in multiple modalities for many years.
Dennis has been in rehearsal rooms, classrooms, and the creative processes for over five decades that were both thrilling and difficult. We’ve watched brilliant work emerge from conditions that were not always safe, sustainable, or humane. This practice grows out of a simple conviction: the work matters, and so do the people making it.
We bring together experience in acting, directing, pedagogy, and institutional leadership to offer something that is neither therapy nor HR: a grounded, relational space where artists and leaders can tell the truth about what’s happening and get support in deciding what to do next.
